Guide & Instructions for Teachers (Students aged 5–18)
This Teacher’s Guide, developed within EDIAQI, supports educators in introducing indoor air quality (IAQ) across different age groups, from early primary to secondary education.
It provides essential background on indoor air pollution, its health impacts, and why awareness should start early, helping teachers frame IAQ topics within existing curricula and classroom activities. The guide is designed to accompany the EDIAQI student workbooks and to support inquiry-based, age-appropriate learning.
Indoor air pollution is an emerging public health concern, particularly affecting children and other vulnerable groups. By engaging students early, schools can help build long-term awareness, responsible behaviours, and healthier indoor environments.
